Birthday Zoo Trip

Noah LOVED the chimps, he wanted to stay there forever
Look at our big boy walking around!
Hello little Meerkats
Looking at the sea lions
Noah really liked the elephants
Noah loved the "ducks." We know it's really a goose, but try explaining that to a one year old saying "duck...duck....duck."
Look at the giraffe's (or 'raffs as Noah says), Daddy
Wow, there is a baby zebra over there!

Birthday Boy!!

Noah's new trick!!!

Look at him go!!!!! We are so proud of our little guy!!! He finally decided that he can walk. It all started last Thursday night at the chiropractor. Noah is afraid of him, he freaks out whenever anyone "works" on me. At the doctor, he cried like crazy when they took my blood pressure and temperature and he freaked out the one time he was with me when I got adjusted. Anyways, Noah was standing up at the Lego table in their office when the chiropractor came over to try to make friends. Noah was terrified and took 4 little steps in my direction. Those were his first real steps, all it took was sheer terror to motivate him. He seemed to really get the idea on Sunday. Hooray!!! That's Uncle Neal laughing in the video.

Memorial Day Weekend-Part 3

It rained a lot and we had to find things to do to amuse ourselves inside...
Go Dogs Go!!
We even had a couple of family birthday parties, this one is with Great Grandma and Grandpa Dieker.

This party is with the Doan side of the family, Thanks for the cake, Aunt Tammy!!!

Memorial Day Weekend-Part 2

Noah really like his little pool, that is until.....
The little neighbor girl, Nikki, came over and hopped in with him. She really wanted to be buddies with Noah, but he was in the water like 1 minute before he got out...I guess he doesn't like older women.

Then Noah and I sat on the edge of the pool and played with her from a bit of a distance.

Memorial Day Weekend-Part 1

It was rainy a lot of the weekend, but when we got the chance to be outside we took full advantage of it! Noah is playing in the wildflowers (weeds) by the road, but we were right there and it isn't a busy road at all, so he was safe!

Noah and I played Peek-a-boo in the front yard after he got out of the baby pool. Isn't he adorable?
Noah and his daddy, chillin' out and taking a break. Isn't Noah long? When did he get that big? The last year has gone by so fast, I can't believe how much he has grown!!!

Naked Time!!!

Noah is getting over a "wicked bad" diaper rash. In an effort to speed the process along, I stripped the lad down and blocked him in the kitchen/dining room area. I think the fresh air really helped and I got some cute pics. However, to preserve his modesty (and so I don't get griped at in 13 years) I am not putting any shots of his cute little bottom on the web.

Uncle Neal came to visit

Look at Noah's curls! I love the humidity!

Mother's Day Picnic

We had an impromptu picnic in our back yard on Mother's Day.  I just have a thing for picnics :)  Notice how much Noah is eating...the picnic ended with him throwing up mightily all over his legs, feet, and my jeans.  I think he just wanted to give me something for Mother's Day that he made himself.

Some Mother's Day pictures

We had a wonderful day on Mother's Day!!  We even got to have a picnic (next set of pictures)!  Ryan and Noah spoiled me rotten, it was perfect ;)  On a stinky note, I took Noah to the doctor today to see if we could do anything about his allergies and because he spiked a fever last night.  We found out that he has the beginnings of pneumonia!  Eek!  So now he is on antibiotics, 2 inhalers for a total of 5-6 treatments a day, tylenol for the fever and zyrtec for the allergies.  Poor kid!  I just hope that he is back to his old self soon.  He just crawls over to me and lays his head in my lap and stares off into space.  I am just holding him as much as I can and praying he feels better soon.

Some random photos of the last week or so

Pea Fanatic

Noah loves his peas.  I think they are his favorite food, we may have to have a pea intervention soon, we think he is addicted.
