Memorial Day Weekend
Hmmm...what's in here?  We had a birthday party with the Dieker side of the family on Saturday.
Sweet new Thomas towel!
Having a great time playing with his new trains
Here are Noah's birthday cupcakes, he didn't get the concept of blowing out the candle this year, maybe next year?
He just plops down in the middle of his wooden set and goes to town.

Cupcake #2....after the party it was off to the lake!
Looking for roly-polys (he calls them Holy-olys, so cute!).  Noah LOVES bugs...and Thomas...and construction vehicles....he is such a boy!
Noah's boat ride...he wasn't too thrilled about going, but he did great.
Playing with the vintage Tonka trucks

I love this face!

Noah running to the "beach" to play with the rocks and throw them in the lake...a favorite pass-time.

Picking up a rock...
and examining it before tossing it in the lake

Fun Conversation with Noah today

Me: Noah do you know where we are going this weekend?

Noah: To Codorado?

Me: Not yet, we're going to Grandma and Grandpa's house

Noah: How exciting!  Get Diesel at Grandma and Grandpa's house

By the way, Diesel is yet another train and oddly enough he is going to get Diesel for his birthday at his grandparents' house this weekend...is he psychic?
Fun Conversation with Noah yesterday (Edward is a train in the Thomas series)

Noah: Want Edward at home...want Edward!!!!!

Me:  Honey, we don't have Edward

Noah (wheels turning):  Edward at Target?

Me:  Yes, I bet Edward is at Target

Noah: Go to Target NOW....Get Edward

Me: Noah, it's naptime, we aren't going to Target right now

Noah (dissolving into tears): GO BYE BYE NOW!!!  GO BYE BYE!!!!

He had a pretty good fit after that, it just made me laugh.  We are pretty sure we have Edward in a box of trains for his birthday in a week and a half...at least we'd better!

Noah and Marquez Racing

Isn't this cute?  It's fun to see Noah start to play with other kids :)

Zoo Visit

We went to the zoo last week with some of our playgroup pals, that's Noah then Devin then Addison then Marquez!

Doesn't his head look huge in this picture?  I think it's the hair, we didn't get around to brushing it that morning...hey, he's a boy, don't give me a hard time!
Action shot of Noah and Marquez racing.  Doesn't he look like such a big boy????

I just love this pose.  We were checkin' out the rhino's
On the way home from the zoo, he just couldn't hang on, so Mama stopped for a Sonic drink to kill more time :)  He just looked so cute back there I had to snap a picture.

It's a very long story so I'm not going to go into it (I will plug USA baby, though they are wonderful, buy your baby furniture there!!!), but we traded in Noah's furniture for all new furniture for the new baby.  So since I'm sentimental and a little bit crazy, I took some pics of Noah in his crib before it got hauled away :(  I'm not ready for him to grow up yet!!  He is doing GREAT in his big boy bed though!  He sleeps all night long and doesn't get out of bed until we go get him in the morning...I'm wondering how long this is gunna last!  We are having fun getting the nursery around for the new little one, too!

Mom's Day Weekend Videos

Havin' fun in the puddle

Sorry it's so loud!  We have to tell him to "arm dance" or he just moves his legs when he "dances."

Mother's Day Weekend

Noah showing off his gardening skills.
I think the cilantro should go....here
Noah had a great time playing in the water dripping from the faucet.
Planting jalapenos...or just playing in the mud...
Hmmm...now I'm muddy!
This is his favorite part of getting muddy.
Gotta love those smiles.
Here is my Mother's Day present.  My wonderful handy husband built me some planter boxes and we are trying our hand at a little garden.  I tend to kill most things so we'll see how it goes.  I just have to remember to water it...that seems to be my problem.  Hopefully we'll have lots of tomatoes and fresh herbs this summer!
Here is Ryan teaching our son to pee standing up....outside....I think it was a very proud moment for Ryan, but perhaps more of a Father's Day activity.
We spend A LOT of time out back pushing Noah in his swing...A LOT of time...
I was going to delete some of these Noah and I pictures, but for some reason it won't let me, so here we go...
This is definitely not a flattering pic of me, but you can see the belly pretty well in it, so I put it up.  I think both the kids need to be represented on Mother's Day!

Our indoor picnic b/c it was cold and rainy outside.  We watched "Over the Hedge."
mmmmm....food!

Cuddle Time!!!

Counting

I just love his voice!!!  Potty training has taken a bad turn, lol.  He was doing great, down to like 1 accident a day and now he's just peeing all over the place.  We're not sure what's going on or what to do next.  But isn't that just parenting in general?
