Easter '08
Noah's first Easter was a lot of fun. I had my doubts, it started out rough. We got all ready and went to church, but with Noah's cold we didn't want to put him in the nursery. So we decided I would hold Noah out behind the sanctuary during the sermon so I could listen. We figured he would be ok for the singing, NOPE! He started crying immediately, so I took him out and then 2 minutes later, Ryan came out of the sanctuary wheezing. He is allergic to Easter lillies. So, we stood in the back for a while and tried to listen, but there were people back there talking and we couldn't hear, so defeated, we went home.
After Noah got his nap, he was much happier and loved his Easter basket. I cooked my first turkey and it wasn't terrible, so I was proud :) We had a nice dinner and played at watched basketball and dyed eggs. I think it will be fun next year, when we can hide eggs for Noah to hunt :) I love looking at the old pictures of my cousins, James and I hunting eggs when we were tiny, you can see eggs sitting out in plain sight and all of us wee ones look totally lost.

He loves to crawl over to the gate and pull up and rattle it, especially if one of the cats is on the other side. He is getting so much steadier on his feet these days. His 7th tooth has finally broken through, but we think he is working on a mouthful right now, he is constantly chewing on his fingers.

Dinner time
Noah just had his 9 month well-baby visit. He is doing great!!! 20lbs 13oz and 28inches. He is working on cutting his 7th tooth, so he's a little grumpy right now. We are hoping it comes through soon! He is crawling all over the place and pulling up on everything he can (I mean everything that's more than 2inches high). He has started cruising around the furniture and he is getting brave enough to let go and launch himself at us from time to time. It won't be too long before he is walking. Eeeek!!! He got the green light for all kinds of foods, I am going today to get some yogurt and cottage cheese for him. I hope he likes dairy!! We are all anxious for it to finally warm up so that we can get out of the house. We are getting cabin fever!
