Pops' Gig

We went to hear Pops play last night and Noah was very intrigued.  He was very excited to see his Pops up there singing and playing guitar.  It was cute to watch his response, I just had to share :)  I tried to upload a couple videos, but failed miserably.  I have no idea what is going on with blogger!!!  Someday hopefully you will get a post with like 20 videos on it

Sundays :)

My boys all ready for church

We love Sundays, especially during football season!  We get up at our usual time, there's no sleeping in with a wee one around, eat pancakes or cinnamon rolls for breakfast, and head to church.  Noah is only crying about 50% of the time that we drop him off at the nursery now, hooray!  We are all about celebrating little victories.  When we get home, we change into our comfy Chief's apparel and lay around at watch football.  We usually take a nice long walk after the 2nd game and let Noah run around outside for a while.  It's just about perfect for us, exactly our speed.  

These are our attempts to have Noah "perform" on camera.  The problem is, I was dumb and let him see pictures and videos on the LCD screen on the back of the camera, so now whenever he sees the camera he just wants to run around and look at the back of it.  Ok, I was going to upload some more videos, but it wouldn't let me, it kept telling me to contact customer support and I am frustrated so this is all you get until my patience comes back!

Just some random pictures

This is what I usually see when we go to the park for play group.  I see Noah's back as he wanders off.  He's a big wanderer...I have to watch him very closely.  Most of the other kiddos stay fairly close to their moms so they get more chatting in, I'm always chasing down the Boo. In this picture he is looking at the train as it's going by.

Mmmmmm I thought homemade pizza sounded good, so we had this the other night and it was so delicious!  It's half cheese and half tomato-basil...nummy nummy nummy.  This picture is mostly for Emily, lol.  

Deals, Deals, Deals

Alright, most of you who know us, know that we are all into the CVS / Walgreens and Coupon deals of the world. I am posting today's deals mostly because I think both of our parents think we are insane. So, look at the pictures below. I got all this in one trip to CVS and one trip to Walgreens. 

After coupons, etc all items were FREE! In fact, after I turn in the rebates on the Walgreen's items (put them on a Walgreen's gift card for later deals), I will actually MAKE $12 on all this stuff. That's right, I will MAKE $12!!! My reciepts show that I saved over $85 today using coupons! 

So, for those of you who think we are crazy, while you are paying for your deodorant, shampoo, advil, toothpaste, laundry soap, diaper rash cream, gum, body wash, pain gel etc, just think of me getting paid to take it all out of the store!

Consignment Sale!!!

I went to my first ever consignment sale this morning and stocked up on some basics for Noah for the winter...I'm not sure why I feel the need to share, but I do, hooray bargains!!!  It was a lot more organized before Noah crawled into the mix.  We got him 3 pairs of jeans, one pair of cords, some khaki pants, a pair of sweatpants, one sweater, two sleepers, two pairs of shoes, six books, a truck and a train and a present for his cousin-to-be for under $40!!!  Not too bad, eh?

Weekend Silliness

We just got out the camera this weekend and took a lot of pictures of Noah, some silly some cute some that just make you go ????  In the last one he actually looks like me!!!  Or at least like a lot of my baby pictures.  Hooray, maybe there's a little bit of me in there after all!  We think it's funny how Noah likes to use his sit and spin as a stool.  I tried to get a couple of shots of it, but he hops off and always runs over to the camera whenever he spots it.  Anyways, we think Noah is just completely adorable and we're sure you agree after seeing all these pics!

I can't believe how big he looks and how much he looks like his daddy now that he has less hair.  It's insane!!  Is there any of me in him anywhere?  Lol.  He is an IVF baby, maybe they just cloned Ryan and left me out of the equation.  The lady who cut his hair missed a lot on one side, so we have been trying to even it up...cutting hair is definitely not one of my skills.  So if you see him and he looks lopsided, it's my fault.  In her defense he was squirming and trying to grab the scissors the whole time.  

Just in the last few days, he has started hamming it up for the camera, it's awesome!  He has suddenly turned into a climber, too!  Yesterday I looked over and he had climbed up on the couch and was straddling the arm and trying to climb up behind the TV.  Eek!  Mommy has to pay more attention!  

We are down to only one nap now and it's going fairly well.  Yesterday Noah slept for 3 hours!  Woohoo!  I didn't know what to do with myself and then he was in a GREAT mood all night.  It's amazing what some good sleep will do for a person.

A FEW lake picks

We went to the lake for Labor Day and had a great time!  I always take out my camera on the first day, take a few snapshots and then forget about it for the rest of the weekend.  We got to hang out with Grandma and Grandpa Dieker, Great Grandma and Grandpa Dieker, Aunt Teresa and Uncle Richard, Uncle Neal and Courney!   Noah loves to play in the rocks and crawl all over the chairs.  He runs all over the place, it's nice that there are so many people around to keep an eye on him, he's such a busy little guy.  Noah went swimming a few times, but I wouldn't get in, the water was too cold for me.  I like bath water temperatures!!  That was our last trip to the lake this summer :(  We are thinking about maybe heading down for a weekend in the fall just to get away from everything, but we will probably get too busy!
