Christmas '08 Part II (in correct order this time, go me!)

Bulldoze!!!

Noah kept on handing all of his vehicles to Ryan to hold, it made us laugh.

The anticipation was killing him, lol. Hurry up Daddy!
Don't worry, it's not all play and no work around here, Noah got in some time on his new laptop.
Noah relaxin' on the couch, eatin' mix and watching a movie, a nice end to Christmas :)

Christmas '08 Part I (all these pictures are actually in reverse order of when they happened, sorry!)

Noah LOVES "mix" that his Great-Grandma Dieker makes

After Noah heard me say that the sprinkles were edible he started to chow down. I thought these pics of him on a crazy sugar binge were cute!

Decorating nicely before he started eating the sprinkles.

Noah got to "help" make the cookies..
Doesn't he look like a big kid in this picture? He's growing up WAY too fast!

We took Noah to Union Station to see the trains, he was so interested in them, and he held on tight to his "big bus" the whole time.
Mommy and Noah and Cousin Carter
Chillaxin' with Dad
Working on his laptop in his Cozy-Coupe tent.
He got the hang of opening presents really quickly.
Our little drummer boy

After Ryan forced him into his Cozy Coupe, he had a great time!!

Random Pics :)

Noah decorated his first Christmas cookies, he had a great time, especially when he figured out that the sprinkles were edible. He had a nasty brown smear all over his face from the mix of melted green and red sugar. He would grab some red sprinkles and say "ed" and then grab the green ones and say "reen." He's fixated on colors these days.

Noah was playing with Pops' hat in the waiting room at the hospital, I just thought these were cute pics!

More bathtime fun!

Noah is learning his letters now, he probably knows about half of them. He knows the numbers 1-10 and the basic colors (red, yellow, blue, green, purple, orange, pink, and black) and the basic shapes(circles, squares, stars, hearts, triangles, rectangles...). We had his 18 month appointment a little while back and he has met all his milestones and is doing great, but we already knew that! He has the concepts of "off/on" and "in/out" down pat and he is starting to say "no" and "yes" when we ask him questions, so that's nice, we don't always have to guess what he wants. My favorite new word he is saying is "bulldoze" for "bulldozer." It's adorable. He loves construction vehicles and buses. Noah still loves to read, hooray!!! He can repeat just about any word we say now, which is fun, but we have to be careful! He said a 3 word combo the other day, "mama, up please" so that's cool!

Noah gets a cousin!!!

Carter James Thomas was born today around 5:15pm weighing 8lbs 7oz and he is 19 1/4 inches long. Mommy and baby are doing great! He is an adorable chunky little monkey!! Noah thought he was pretty cool. He smiled at Carter and laughed when I held him. I think Noah's favorite part of the day was making loud sounds in the elevator bay because it echoed. He would yell "dobie dobie dobie dobie" and laugh. We tried to quiet him because there were other people in the waiting room, but what can you do? He also really liked the nice nurse who brought him milk after he chanted "Milk....milk....milk...." for about 5 minutes. Thank you nurse!! Here is a pic of Jo and Pops and their grandsons!

Videos

Noah really loves riding on this rocking horse at his Grandma and Grandpa Dieker's house.

I was in the kitchen doing the dishes the other day and I heard Noah talking so I went to investigate and found him "reading." Luckily I had my camera close by!

Thanksgiving Weekend

This is about the only good pic we got of him in Wichita, our camera batteries died, but doesn't he look adorable in the fireman hat?

Jo and Pops have this "interesting" cement deer statue at their house. It came with the house and is cemented in there, so it's going to take some serious effort to get it out, but in the meantime, Noah loves to "ride" the deer.
Noah gets a kick out of it when daddy "accidentally" bumps his head on the ceiling.

Noah likes to put on Daddy's shoes and hat and run around the house...well not run in those huge shoes, but it's totally cute how he wants to be like Daddy!

So last night, Noah ran over to Ryan and was tugging on his pants and said "off...off," so Ryan took them off and Noah started pulling on his socks and said "off....off," so Ryan took them off. Then he ran over to me and said "Pee pee." So we went to the bathroom and I took off his diaper and he sat down on his potty and went to the bathroom. Nice, eh? I am hoping that wasn't a fluke and he wants to potty train, I'm all over that! He also went "pee pee" in his potty again before his bath. But then today he peed all over the bathroom floor (hooray tile!). Anyways, I'm not going to start hard-core potty training, but if he wants to use the potty I will definitely encourage that!
