Last Weekend

This is Noah watching/listening to his Pops playing at the Parkville Acoustic Festival. Noah had a great time dancing and running around.
This is the first flower that Noah picked for me, isn't it sweet...ok, so he just got a little carried away and that's why he "picked" it...and Ryan said "give it to Mommy" over and over again until he brought it to me, but it still got me a little teary I must admit!


Noah loves to crawl around in the water at the lake and pick up rocks.
The wheels on the dock go round and round, round and round, round and round....Ok, it's the neighbor's dock actually that has the wheels that spin, but Noah loved it. What he did not love was his life jacket. There were lots of tears involved. We think it's because he can't really walk in the water in it very well and it keeps tipping him on his back which freaks him out!


Isn't the new design just the old design only blue? This is Nikki, the new design is news to me! I like the change though!

Noah and Eli

"I wonder how far we can get before they stop us?"
Eli is Noah's second cousin (?) and is only 8 months older Noah. Eli would share his food with Noah, so sweet! Noah on the other hand is a little bit too much like Joey, and "Joey doesn't share food!!!" That's a Friend's reference in case you didn't catch it.

Reading buddies. It was so much fun to watch Noah and Eli "play" together, which mostly consisted of one of them following the other one around

I think Mommy is more excited about this present than Noah. It's a Sit-n-Spin. Noah loves it, by the way. He will sit on it and I will spin him around much to his delight.

Pre-party loving on Orville the pig that has been in the Thomas family for a decade and a half. Noah loves Orville, he will run over to him and flop down on him and give him a hug. It's funny to see Noah run around carrying the pig, too. It just doesn't seem like he should be able to lug around something as big as he is.
A typical Noah face that is usually accompanied by a cute fake laugh. I think he was laughing at us running around like crazy people getting ready for the party.

Playing with balloons after the party. I just thought this was a cute pic! But you can tell that he needed a haircut, which we have since remedied. It was a fun birthday, we all had a great time, but I'm glad we get a year's break in between them!!

I am sick, I feel terrible so no labels for these pictures, I am just proud of me for getting them on the web!

Before!!!!

Well, I finally broke down and took Noah for his first haircut. I guess I heard "what a beautiful little girl!" one too many times in the supermarket. Even with longer hair, I haven't ever thought he looked girly at all! Of course I am his mom, but when I look at him I see all boy. His hair was way down below his eyes in the front, it really was time. It was a little traumatic, the first haircut, but I am ok now. Noah did great, too. There were a few tears (more from Noah than from me, actually!!). The stylist was great, Noah kept on trying to look and see what she was doing and she was quick to move the scissors out of his way. It was sad as she was cutting he just started to look like a little boy, my baby vanished! But now that the first one is over I'm sure it will be much easier from here on out. I have a little baggie of hair and a certificate with before and after pictures from the salon. Even though I think it is slightly gross, I am going to keep his little locks of hair forever!!!
